ENERGY awareness is becoming a major requirement from many more companies who are looking at ways to reduce
ENERGY costs and make their premises more ENERGY efficient. 10-12% of all power generated in the UK is dedicated to the production of Compressed Air.
Typically up to 20% of a factory energy consumption is attributed to the operation of compressed air.
ABAC UK has introduced a number of ENERGY efficient Variable Speed Compressors: Genesis 11 & 22 kW Variable Speed range, the ALUP SOLO range has been extended to 30 kW, and the FOMULA 37kW EDI model has been introduced.
Available from ABAC UK is a DATA logger to monitor the power consumption of the
Compressed Air Installation, a full analysis of this data allows an ENERGY saving solution to be recommended, this together with the plant control system will ensure maximum efficiency when generating compressed air.

Energy Calculator
With ever increasing energy costs and a need to reduce carbon emissions, there has never been a greater need for energy saving within the compressed air industry, by completing the attached fields in our energy calculator you can get an estimate of the potential energy costs and savings within your compressed air system.

Energy Audit
By monitoring the Compressed Air System, a detailed report can be created that allows to understand the factory compressed air requirement throughout the week.
Once the data is collected, the reports will show an analysis of power consumption and airflow requirements, the DATA LOGGER will take readings every 10
secs, and plot them in an easy to understand graphical form, covering a "one week" period.
Making use of this data the Authorised appointed distributor will be able to explain the results in a simplified report, and make recommendations for ENERGY savings. |

Intelligent
Technology Where it Matters
|
By using a Variable Speed compressor the user can:
-
Exactly match the flow of compressor to the precise compressed air
requirement, instantly
- Avoiding the switching between load & no-load cycles and the
consequent costly no-load running periods
- Energy-saving start-up eliminating current spikes
- Freely select the operating pressure between 5 - 13 bar in 0.1 bar
increments constantly
- The reducing working pressure immediately generates power
savings
The Variable Speed Range in the ABAC/ALUP range includes:
- Genesis Variable Speed to 22
kW
- Formula Variable Speed to 37
kW
- SOLO Variable Speed to 30 kW
- Allegro Variable Speed to 260 kW

Plant Control Systems
By making use of Plant control management system a very efficient solution can be achieved. The MULTI CONTROL 3 Management console will make compressors stop and start depending on demand, and create an efficient set-up.
This together with the use of variable speed compressors, means producing the exact amount of air requirements for the requirements needed.
The MULTI CONTROL 3
- Up to 10 compressors can be managed together
- Any make of compressor (with suitable hardware)

Telemonitoring
Telemonitoring allows remote control, and monitoring of a group of compressors (maximum 10) managed via a modem or internet connection.
The machines can be checked remotely for failures, started and stopped and monitored for servicing schedules, historical data, and other valuable information.
