- Stop the compressor before disconnecting any accessories.
- This compressor is designed for intermittent operation, it should not be run continuously for more than 15 - 20 mins.
- While compressed air is produced a certain amount of heat is generated, specially if the machine has been  running for a long time, allow for the machine to cool down before unplugging the hose from the compressor.

- A small batch of machines have been supplied with 1.5HP labels, the compressors are 2HP and replacement labels can be supplied on request. To view a copy of the certificate declaring the compressors horse power click here.
The certificate is an Acrobat PDF, you will need Acrobat to view it, Acrobat can be down loaded free from the link at the bottom of this page

THE COMPRESSOR MUST BE USED IN A SUITABLE ENVIRONMENT (WELL VENTILATED WITH AN AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF BETWEEN +5°C AND +40°C) AND NEVER IN PLACES AFFECTED BY DUST, ACIDS, VAPORS, EXPLOSIVE OR FLAMMABLE GASES, RAIN OR SNOW.

- Certain basic rules must be observed when using an electro-mechanical appliance.
- This compressor is designed for intermittent operation of 25% (2.5 minutes ON, 7.5 minutes OFF).
- The compressor is not designed for industrial applications or continuous use.
- Make sure that the mains supply to which the appliance is connected complies with current safety regulations and is correctly earthed.
- Never use the appliance with bare feet or wet hands or feet.
- Always use the carrying handle (E) to transport the compressor.
- Use of adaptors, multiple sockets and extensions, even if of suitable capacity (cable cross section area (2.5 mm 2 ) should be avoided especially in damp places.
- The appliance must never be exposed to adverse weather conditions (rain, sun, fog or snow).
- Keep children and animals at a safe distance from the work area.
- Always leave sufficient space (at least 5 meters) between the compressor and the work area in particular when using tools for spraying of liquids.
- Never clean the machine with liquids or solvents. When cleaning, disconnect the machine from the electricity supply by removing the plug and use a damp cloth only.
- The compressor must be placed on a stable surface.
- The compressor is designed for air compression only and must never be used
for any other type of gas.
- Never direct the jet of air towards persons or animals or your body.
- Never direct the jet of water or other materials sprayed by tools connected to the compressor towards the compressor.
- The compressor must not be used for pharmaceutical, food or sanitary purposes. It is not suitable for filling the air bottles of scuba divers.
- When using compressed air, you must know and comply with the safety precautions to be adopted for the single applications (inflating, pneumatic tools, painting, washing with water based detergents only, etc.).

- Connect the spiral air tube (F) to the compressed air outlet (C). The coupling C is supplied loose and must be securely screwed into the thread before use.
- With the compressor OFF, connect the air-operated tool you intend to use to the other end of the hose.
- Insert the plug into an outlet of suitable size and rating. The electricity supply must be earthed
- Press the button of the on/off switch.
- Use regulator (B) to adjust air flow appropriate to the air operated tools specific requirement (see enc).
- When not in use, always switch off the compressor using the on-off switch (A).
- If you intend to re-use the compressor, always wait for at least ten seconds before switching this on again.
- Always pull out the plug (D1) when you have finished work.
- The winding of the electrical motor incorporates a thermal cut-out RT that automatically switches off the electric current if the motor overheats. The motor restarts automatically when it has cooled to normal temperature.

- Always use appropriate safety equipment when using the tools, in particular always use goggles when using the air dusting gun and a suitable mask when using the paint spray gun, these are easily available from any DIY shop.

Spray Gun
- Filling The Spray gun
Fill the container with the type of material required which is diluted to the correct consistency, for spray painting using the appropriate thinner.
You can use emulsion paints, preservatives and most products suitable for spraying when adequately thinned with the appropriate thinner, directions for thinning should be sought from the manufacturer , however as a general rule of thumb, if a wooden spatula or stick used for stirring the material is lifted from the product there should be 3 drips and no more, as a guide only.

How to use the low-pressure spray gun :
Fill the container with the type of material required which is diluted to a
Correct consistency for spray painting using the appropriate thinner. Re-attach the container to the gun Connect the accessory to the spiral-wound tube and to the compressor Press the trigger to operate the spraying of the chosen material. Adjust the jet of paint using the ring-nut . Always clean the spray gun carefully after use. Do not use wire brushes or Abrasives. Do not submerge the parts in solvent as this will damage the Internal seals.

Note: it is normal for this spray gun to vent air continuously through the Nozzle Clean the nozzle carefully after use. For this purpose, fill the reservoir with Thinner (or water for water based materials) and spray in a safe direction to Remove all material residue.

WARNING!!!: Never leave paint inside the reservoir since this would damage the spray gun precision parts beyond repair.

AIR PRESSURE
Adjust regulator knob (Fig. 4) to “low-medium” depending on material of Application when using the low pressure spray gun

Inflating Gun

How to use the inflation gun:

Once you have connected the accessory to the spiral-wound tube and to the compressor, unscrew the plug of the valve on the rim of the Tyre. Connect the end of the inflation gun to the valve of the tyre and make sure it is securely fastened. To inflate the tyre, start the compressor and press the trigger until the pressure required, shown on the gauge, is reached. The inflation of footballs, air beds, bicycle tyres etc, can be carried out using the adaptors supplied. The adaptors can be attached to the inflating gun by pressing the clip at the end of the tube connected to the inflating gun, then push firmly the chosen adaptor into the nozzle and release the clip to secure. For further information regarding the recommended pressure for tyre inflation, refer to the maintenance handbook of your car.

WARNING!!!: the accessory provided in the kit must be used only to inflate car tyres. To inflate other objects such as balls, mattresses etc., ask your retailer for the 3-needle adapter kit.

AIR PRESSURE
Adjust regulator knob (Fig. 4) to setting from “low-high” depending on the speed of inflation required when using the inflating gun.

Washing Gun

How to use the washing gun:

Once you have connected the accessory to the spiral-wound tube and to the compressor, connect the washing gun to a water hose If the end of your hose is not fitted with a universal fast attachment, simply insert the fitting of the gun in the hose and tighten with a hose clamp. To use the accessory, start the compressor, direct the gun in the direction of the surface to be washed and press the trigger. Best cleaning results are obtained at maximum water pressure i.e. turn the water tap to full on.
Remember that you can adjust the jet of water using the ring-nut at the base
of the nozzle.

WARNING!!! Never use the jet of water on objects that may be damaged by the pressure of the water.

AIR PRESSURE
Adjust regulator knob to “high” when using the washing gun

Air Dusting Gun

How to use the air dusting gun:

Once you have connected the accessory to the spiral-wound tube and to the compressor, aim the gun in the direction of the surface required and press the trigger.

AIR PRESSURE
Adjust regulator knob  to “low” when using the air dusting gun
