PRECAUTIONS

 

  • Read the manual and understand all the safety instructions and procedures before operating the tool. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the ABAC technical support team.
  • Never use gasoline or other flammable liquids to clean the tool. Flammable vapours may be left in the tool that could ignite by a spark during operation.
  • Never use oxygen or other combustible gas as a power source for the tool. Use filtered, lubricated, regulated compressed air only.
  • Do not exceed maximum permissible operating pressure of the tool (110 psi or 7.6 bar). The nail gun is equipped with a contact safety mechanism. Exceeding the operating pressure will trip the safety mechanism preventing the gun from firing.
  • Carry the nail gun using only the handgrip, and never with the trigger actuated. Never carry the nail gun by the hose or pull the hose to move the tool.
  • Disconnect the tool from the air supply before cleaning jams, servicing, adjusting and during non-operation.
  • While operating this nail gun always wear the protective goggles included in the kit.
  • Do not use a check valve or any other fitting which allows air to remain in the tool.
  • Do not place your hand or any other part of your body in the discharge area of the the nail gun when connecting or disconnecting the air supply.
  • Never point the tool at yourself, any other person or animals.
  • Keep the nail gun away from children.
  • The nail gun must never be exposed to adverse weather conditions; rain, snow or extreme temperatures.
  • Always leave sufficient space (at least 5 meters) between the compressor and the work area.
