 Diluting the Paint/Material suitable for Spraying

  1. Establish the correct thinner for the material i.e. thinner, white spirit, water etc.
  2. Thoroughly mix the material to the consistency similar to cooking oil.
  3. You can check the correct consistency by placing a spatula into the material, count the drips before the drips stop, there should be 3 or 4 drips.  If there are more drips the paint is too thin and if there are fewer drips then the paint is too thick.

 Spraying Technique

  1. Make sure air pressure is 2 bar – 3 bar.
     
  2. Adjust material and air adjusters for correct fan shape and material output.
     
  3. Test on scrap material before painting.
     
  4. Spray at a constant 15-25 cm from object.
     
  5. Overlap each spray by 50% over the previous spray to achieve even finish.
     
  6. Spray edges before main object area.
